    Texoma

Wife and I will be going there in a couple of weeks and have never been on the lake. Will be staying close to the 377 bridge and looking for what to expect. Will be after blackbass, smallmouth, and possibly striper and am looking for info on all three. Thanks in advance.

Thought the same thing. Any specific area they tend to roam? And what the bait of choice.

Neighbor went with a guide last week. They are close to the bank chasing shad early morning and biting topwater baits. Guide said they'll be in this pattern for the next month or so. You have to be on the water very early because as soon as it gets hot they're gone. They fished off grandpappy point.

Long run from 377 to Grandpappy Point. From 377 east there are some rocky banks and marinas on the Texas side that hold fish year round. If the lake is up (which it is rising) there are willows on the banks adjacent to deeper water that will hold largemouth all day. If you can trailer drive to the dam and put in at the public ramp and go west to the rocky bluffs and points to pick up smallmouth. OR put in at Lighthouse Marina. Grandpappy is across the creek and you have a channel swing in the river that comes close to the bank with rock structure.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason
