A direct competitor for the wide body 18.5’ boats would be awesome. Thought would probably eat most of the Sabre and P2 sales. Though maybe not. The P2 is one of the best of all time.

I would guess the Sabre would go away if they made a wide body 18 footer. Or the Sabre would just become the wide body 18 footer.

The STS is the label and short term for Soft Touch Series, which refers to the new softer riding hulls. They are intended to cut more water than the main line legacy hull that the Cougar FTD has. Their particular benefit is experienced in moderate waves from 10" to 24" in height. The Jaguar STS was the original and the Puma STS is the second, this will be the third in the series. All three are a little unique in their intended performance.

I would speculate either a re tooling of the P2, or them having a totally different model in the 21'+ class. Reason for that is the p2 is the oldest non facelifted hull they have and has not even had a top cap update. The addition of another 21' boat would give them a hull more like the puma sts in a full length offering that would compete with boats like the longer pheonix models and caymas 21' models. And bonus points Rick needs more hulls for 400-450R motors lol.

That would be a nice one, especially with an EYRA front deck layout!

That right there would probably get the nod from me. I'd even be good with 19'-4" beam forward 200 boat. I love my P2, but a little more width up front would be nice on days we fish three in the boat.
