    Thermostats

I was out Tuesday and must have gotten some dirt in one of my thermostats. Motor wouldn’t warm up over 110 deg. Does it hurt to idle back to the ramp like that. Thanks

You’re good. Just don’t take it over 1500 rpm.

Take the T-stats out and inspect and clean. Make sure you get some new gaskets when you re-install.

When I got home I pulled the stats and inspected them. Pulled the poppet valve. This motor with the low water pick up can be a pain. I’m pretty quick checking the stats anymore. Thank you!!
