    Trim switch

2001 Evinrude 175 E175FSLSI none of my trim switches work is there a fuse or something that controls power to trim motor? i hope it is not the trim motor, it worked fine and then it didn't.

The shift handle switch and the engine side pan switch?
do you hear anything trying to work if you remove the engine cover?
First thought is the trim relay connector or one of the trim relays.
up is blue wire. Green is down wire. Red is power.

I have been unable to work on for a while. Today i hooked a test light to the motor ground and checked to see if any power coming out of the power distribution box there is a green and a red wire that plugs in right there i tested both and it showed power to both and even got the trim on the motor to work and then it would not. I switched around the relays and nothing.

I only get power to the 2 wires that come out buy the distribution box when i push on trim button to go down shows no power when you push to go up. Is there a test to see if trim motor is bad?

At the trim motor the easiest way to remember what color wires do what is blue sky up, green grass down. Follow the wires from the trim motor to where they plug in. Disconnect them and run a 12V jumper wire to the blue wire. It should go up and when you touch it to the green wire it should go down.

I can make the trim motor raise and lower with a jumper wire, but with none of the switches, i put new relays in, i can heat them click when i try to trim it up with the switch. I don't know what to do next.
