Five Guys burgers are like a happy meal. Smallest burger around. MD quarter pounder here.

David’s Burgers. An Arkansas chain with several locations throughout the state. They grind their own blend of meat and you get endless fries starting when you sit down at the table.

Springfield, Missouri’s first Whataburger since the 1980s opened a couple of weeks ago and the wife and I tried one and it was great. The inside isn’t open yet but you can go through the drive through. For me it’s between it and Steak n Shake.

Only time we visit fast food places is when we are traveling. We first look for a Burger King as their Whopper is pretty consistent. Next up Mc D's but every time I swear we get any kind of burger from them they must make, wrap it and then STEP on it. But any fast food joint is a crap shoot because of the labor now "woking" there. One time it's pretty good and the next time a STEPPED on piece of crap burger. AND never drive off without checking if everything you order is in the bag and HOT ! ! !

The last one I can recall having was at Cook Out in Tn. I don’t recall it being extraordinary, but $5 lunch for burger and 2 sides was good. That was probably 7-8 years ago now.
