I didn’t draw Kansas deer, my son didn’t draw Wyoming elk.

It’s getting to the point where you almost have to have a preference point in order to draw now.

I only put in for a couple of Arkansas and Oklahoma draw hunts this year. They haven’t drawn yet. Had planned on applying for a Wyoming pronghorn tag, but they had a horrible winter kill and severely reduced the number of available tags.

I put in for points in many states this year with the bad winter the west had. Was going to burn 10 goat points or 10 deer pts in Wy, but will wait a few more years after this winter and see how it looks. Will either pick up a mule deer tag in Colorado or run to Cali and shoot a blacktail on some family land.

In all honesty, I put in for my buddy to do the shooting as the sub-permittee so the excitement level isn't very high. I got a small bull years ago and don't care if I get another. I like calling them in though. The only thing that would make it better is if they bugled like elk. Instead, they make to weakest little 'eep' like scared porcupine (if you've ever heard one of those).

Waiting on an Iowa zone 6 archery tag Buddy and I put in and both have 5 preference points so should be good to go! Have a lease and a house set up from Nov 3 to the 22nd!

Well, neither of us got drawn but a good friend of ours got a bull tag so we're going to tag along as his entourage. Early season so no telling how warm the weather will be

Got the email today that I drew a muzzleloader tag for Pushmataha WMA in Oklahoma. Super stoked, as there are some giant bucks there. My buddy shot a stud 8-point during our muzzleloader draw hunt about 8 years ago.

Didnt put in for any draws this year other than one MO managed deer hunt. Doubt I will get it as they only take 75 hunters for the year.
Missed buying points for CO and WY like a idiot so have to make sure to bank them next year so I dont loose all my WY points.
