    Walleye rod/reel setup with downrigger

I had setup the board for stripers this year with 2 downriggers but due to some family issues didn't get the chance. So, thinking of using the downriggers for some Walleye and looking for rod/reel combo setups. Any recommendations for freshwater level wind options.

When we had our camp on Lake Ontario we used to troll a lot for trout and salmon. we used Okuma and Penn reels with Okuma rods. When they bought a place on Oneida we didn’t really troll much with the downriggers but rather the inline snap weights or we used bottom bouncers dragging worm harnesses. With walleye you don’t need anything too big, St Croix even makes some Eyecon trolling rods designed for walleye too.
