    Lightbulb Towing Game Changer

Simple aftermarket mod that greatly reduces your chances of getting stranded with a flat on your trailer. At the least, reduces the chances you tear up your rim and boat fender by driving a flat for 5 miles. I'd been wanting this for years, finally available and affordable. Plus a few tips on what I carry to make flats less of an ordeal.

A Trailer TPMS is “finally available”? I’ve had one since 2017

He’s a little late to the party, have had a TST system since 2014 for our 5th wheel and in 2016 moved it to our motor home and also have it on our toad. Looks like his can just be removed by unscrewing them. With the TST system you need a special tool to remove them once installed.

I guess better late than never lol. All of my buddies tow boats, never seen one who had one of these. Definitely wish I'd learned of it sooner! And yes, I previously ran one that had the locking washer that needs the special tool to remove. This monitor has it as well, but was a pain taking off on my previous brand TPMS monitor that didn't work well, so I chose not to install it on the new one. The monitors don't come loose and easier to just screw them off when I need to air up without the locking device.

I've got this built into the infotainment system of my Sierra and love it. It also tracks mileage, fuel economy and maintenance for each trailer I pull. Pretty nice thing to have.

Getting stranded with a flat? Do people not know how to change a tire? I can change a tire on my trailer on the side of the road in 10 minutes.
