    Security camera ?

Looking for any info. on these remote cameras that replace the light bulb in like a porch light. They connect to the internet, have a intercom, can look in different directions and be remote controlled from a smart phone, PC etc.

You wanting a bulb replacement, or one that replaces the entire fixture?

The ones I see are for bulb replacement. Amazon has a lot to look at.

Well, are they cheap? Did a quick search and the ones that show up were $40....pretty cheap....one of those "get what you pay for" type deal.....does it have to plug into the light socket?

I tried one of the cheap bulbs first. Never could get it to connect to my wifi and sent it back.

This is what I settled on. Replaces the entire outdoor fixture.

Chose these over ring because it has internal storage where the video is temporarily stored before being written to the cloud when bandwidth is available. A buffer of sorts for poor internet speeds.
