    Mega Live out of water

Well it happened to me. Mega Live finally failed me.
I got the out of water message. I checked the contacts, rubbed them off with a towel. Rebooted, checked network all was recognized, powered off and on, no help.
    Solix msi+ 12 & 10 g2 with current updates. Any suggestions.

Take a piece of metal and place over the 2 contacts. I've had to do that a couple of times over the past 3 years..the transducer should start rotating if that was the issue.

Mega Live is what the question is and it seems to pop up more often! I don’t believe there has been a fix or even a remedy to this point. Bob

    Do a Restore Factory Defaults.
Is the Drain wire connected to the outboard starting battery negative?

I'll try that before calling HB. And yes drain wire is connected to neg terminal on bow buss.
Any suggestions on what to use to short switch?

What I do to check at home is a folded up soaked/dripping wet towel on the wet switch and set the Auto Sensitivity/Contrast to ON to verify it works and lake water conditions are not the issue.
Looks like this with when testing:

Is your ML wired up always hot? Or do you have a switch on it or a whole boat switch?
If you don't, it needs to have one of the other.

I'd pull the power and network cable connections loose, check for debris or corrosion. Put everything back together and check with wet towel.
If still not working get a piece of metal or wire and bridge the contacts.
