Swapping Waypoints from Humminbird to Garmin

I traded my boat in on another that has all Garmin units. I exported the waypoints from my Humminbird. Has anyone tried to transfer them to Garmin from there?

That depends on what HB graph you exported them from

Solix – exports in a file format that garmin units can read .gpx

If it’s a helix or older legacy graph you need to convert the matrix system to a .gpx file

Open HumminbirdPC and Highlight the file name just above waypoints
Then click FILE > SAVE AS
Navigate to the SD card and then click save

Now you have a .gpx file of the waypoints that the garmin unit can read

Insert the card in the garmin graph and you should get a popup window
Make sure the unit is set to read gpx files then select add from card

Thanks! I tried to download the HumminbirdPC software but my computer is blocking it saying it's a virus so I'll have to figure that out first but thanks for the info!
