    question on flat trim anode

    1988 Mariner Mag II serial 0B384013. Switched to a Tempest A45 and had to remove the regular trim tab for clearance so ordered a flat one. Ordered part # 15300 which says is for a 88-91 XR4/Mag II but when it arrived it isn’t threaded. Will the bolt cut threads as I tighten it down or do I need a different part #?

    76214T5 one you need bolt comes in from top its threaded
