Does the GPS have to have an 100% unobstructed view of the sky? Or can I put my factory windscreen back on my console? Busy replacing the flush mounted 9 in my dash to a flush mounted 12. Thanks, Allen

GPS will go through your windscreen with no problem. It will also go through fiberglass, and most any material that doesn't have metal in it.
