    Color pallets

I run a dedicated 1022 for ls and always run the moss color with backlight at 100%. But in the bright sunlight I struggle to see the images unless I shade the screen with my body. Just wondering what color pallets have the best visibility for y'all in the sunlight?

I've tried most all the colors at some point. Blue is good but I prefer the black emerald. Everyone's eye's are different so I would say try the colors and find what works for you.

I ran the black emerald for a long time and switched to moss for some reason. But if I remember correctly the black emerald showed up better on brighter days.

Anyone else use Lava? I was using the emerald, but the Lava is one I have been liking more and more.

I started with black emerald and switched to floodlight. Both of them show up good in bright sunlight. The attached image is from my lvs32. Its some crappie on a rock.

I just can't move away from Amber. For whatever reason, it looks more natural to me.

Heck I play with most of the popular colors. Sun is definitely a factor as is low light conditions. That’s the nice thing about Garmin units they are user friendly and easy to navigate.
