Networking to see LS on rear screen

So if the front 106sv with LVS34 is networked to a 93Sv UHD at helm, how does the person looking at the rear unit know where the LS beam is pointing compared to the boat?

You need to have a heading sensor and calibrate the LS that way you get the indicator top right on screen

other than that he would have to physically look and see what direction its pointed

Not that hard when mounted on a trolling motor

I usually just point whatever direction I have the livescope facing and tell my co angler thats where I am seeing whatever I am throwing at so they can throw in that direction to.

Calibrated but shows the beam according to North up, not where off the boat.

On networked GPSMAP units, I never got the beam icon to show up on networked units until I hooked up NMEA. Seems that data is treated like heading data and is sent over NMEA.

Leonard the beam icon is useless anyway unless you can tell me how it is used on the LS screen

It's usually best for the person in the back of the boat just to follow the lead of the one in front. Cast where they cast.
