What is the best size for setback on these hulls. 4-6 or 8 inches? Is there a manufacturer max stated anywhere? If 8 is too much would it show up as worse porpoising as slow and mid speeds. With the 8 inch would you run into not having enough trim up to get the bow as high as it should be. The mercs have a maximum up stroke while underway. It’s strictly a fixed limit no matter where the plate is set. Any help is greatly appreciated.
