    5/21 report

Best day I’ve had at the Atlantic rock quarry! Lots of bass, blue gills, sheep’s head carp, and hybrid bass… The big problem is very very hard to get boat off trail!! Took 1/2hr to get it in the mud just right, even then it was all I had to push it off! I’ve tried everything to get them to try and make it easier for boats but they just don’t care…
just a few of the bigger ones. I watched most of the hybrids on active target eat the bait. Pretty fun.

    Nice trip.

I grew up in Atlantic... Left for college in 1984 and haven't lived there since.

Schildberg's had two flooded gravel pits on the NW side of town at that time... one was decent bream fishing, but no boat access.

Looks like (peeked at Google Earth) they've developed a whole new area a bit further north... Glad that resource is available.
