After an outing yesterday I could not get my drain plug to open. I tried pulling it from
the rear but it seems like it’s bound up somewhere. It would only pull out just enough for water to drip out but I had to hold it with pliers for it to do that. Anyone experienced or have a fix for this?
Remove the screws, pull the whole thing out and maybe you can tell what's going on.
Mine broke on my boat in less than 2 months of ownership. Swapped it for a traditional plug with LED’s from boatpluglight.com after guys at the SOT complained how big of a pain they are and how many replacements they have to send out. Plus makes the transom area look pretty cool early morning or when night fishing.
