    Bottom contact rod setup?

Curious what rods you have “designated” as you bottom contact rods. What do you usually have tied on them? I have bought a few high end rods lately and instead of getting rid of my old ones…I just keep adding designated techniques. So just wondering what everyone else has. Right now I have:
    -one for bfs Texas rigs
    -one for finesse jigs
    -one for 3/8-1/2 jigs
-one for wobble head or carolina rig
    -one for 3/4+ jigs.
    -one for Texas rigs.

I think I might consolidate a few. Just thought I would see what everyone else carries. I know not everyone has dedicated rods…but when you only get a couple hours to fish sometimes, it’s nice to have a technique already tied on. Thanks everyone!

    7ft MH for Texas rigs
7 ft Meduim for lighter Texas rig or shakey head
    7'3" heavy for jigs
    7'3" heavy for carolina rigs
I guess that is the only "bottom contact" ones I have. I have others for buzz baits, spinnerbaits, swim jigs, weightless worrms, frogs, topwaters and cranks.

Don’t Judge me now !!!! LOL
Yes …. I have a problem , but I really enjoy bottom contact fishing.
Its what I’m doing 80% of the time
And yes … I’ve tried all the NRX + rods … I think they are overrated honestly.

This guy is spot on . . . only thing I'll add:

    3/8-1/2oz jigs to docks and cover . . . . DX705c
Carolina rig (also amazing for larger T rig stickbaits and jigs) . . . DX 784c
3/4oz plus around cover defintiley 746c or 736c, but for football jig or flip/punch the 795c is a special rod.
