Stockton Lake - Sac River

I am not familiar with the Sac River (I think it is the river on the west side of Stockton) getting to Son's Creek. Are there trees in the water to be concerned about from the dam to Son's Creek? If I have never been down there, at what area of the lake should I start to idle versus on running on plain.

Stay in the channel when you get past Ruark area. As you approach Greaser creek, timber begins to be an issue. Of course fluctuations with lake level changes situations.
