Fish Monkey vs AFTCO vs other brands

I own a pair of the Fish Monkey shorty gloves. They don't seem to hold up well. Just an all around good glove, for handling fish, and will hold up to the constant in and out of water etc.

I like the shorty glove it feels good on my hand . Much better than a wrist covered one. But a season is about average life expectancy and they start ragging out. Have several pair and rotate.

I don't like the shorty pairs...I use the Fish Monkey Pro gloves. Hold up better and have more of true glove fit.
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!

They fit very well! I like mine. But they do break down over time.

I usually use Simms, but yes the cuffs do get annoying, especially in warm weather. Picked up some Fish Monkey's, they seem ok. No cuff, but the monkey emblem annoys me, it's tackly (as I'm sure it's supposed to be) but I don't care for it, and see it peeling away soon. Probably going to move back to the Simms as I have several pairs still, and just roll the cuffs down.

I have a pair of the Fish Monkeys. They are great, very comfortable, and have held up well after one season even in a salt water.

I think they all get a funky smell not long into one season. The fish monkey seem to stink after half a dozen outings. I usually hang them out to dry before storing them in the coin box.

Don't think I owned a pair of sun gloves that lasted more than a year. Just something i buy every year. had many of the above mentioned, currently have the sixth sense ones.

Love the fish monkey stubby gloves. The Palmyth gloves on amazon are basically the same thing but $10 cheaper.
