    gas in oil tank

    2000 merc 200 efi OT 144927.

    Had gas in oil tank (the one on the engine) replaced the check valve on vapor separator. My question is would the tank in the boat have gas in it too? should I change that oil?
    I have a service manual showing how to bleed everything.
