Beautiful morning in the meadow. The hard frost put the bugs down (last week I couldn't hardly hear over the whine of the skeeters). 1 noisy gobbler and 3 deer showed up to entertain me. The gobbler was making really slow progress so I gave him a couple of clucks which caught the attention of the deer. They all trotted over to 20 yds. and stared at the decoy. Finally, Tommy made his way over belting out his song every step of the way. The only real challenge was getting a shot without dinging the deer. The old Mossberg did fine at 12 yds
