    Livescope issue

I have a friend who got his livescope cable pinched in his trolling motor, and now he said he can see bare wire in the cable. Is there a way to repair this? Thank you in advanced.

Has it affected the image?? Any of the wires completely cut?? If not, then i'd say waterproof the area with some liquid tape (link below) and then use tape to cover it. If the wires are cut then there is a guy on Facebook that repairs them. For the record, i never used this guy and dont know him, just see his post on the FB Garmin pages.

You can do it yourself. Cut mine a couple years back. First time a friend that works for phone company just spliced back but had a dark line middle top of the screen, last time another froind did it right, soldered ,unsulated and shielded every splice and then waterproofed all of it. Works perfect now. I had cut 11 of the 22 tiney wires.
