    Glide baits

What is the “hot” glide bait? What rate of fall do most use? Floating, slow or fast sink? Any other helpful info you can spill.

I like floating or slow floating, working them over grass is always nice.

If they break off, you can often retrieve them, talking from experience.

You can always tune them to your liking if you want them to sink deeper or suspend.

The hot glide bait are usually those that put them out in small batches. Chad shad, clutch etc. They're good baits but the small batches that sell out immediately make them a hot commodity.

I use slow and fast sinking. Never used a floater and don't really feel like I'm missing out.
If you only want to buy one buy slow sink and a pack of suspend strips. A few strips and the slow becomes a fast.

DRT Timy Klash if I want a crank down if I’m throwing a glide it’s a River city lil bassturd in bone or a Biggs Denali in threadfin.
I,d rather be tried by 12 than be carried by 6

I ended up getting the Trace and S-Waver in slow sink. I’ve been out with them a couple times and have had a big time. I wondering if most stay with the original hooks? I have checked them and ran a file over them just to make sure they’re sharp and they seem to be but I’ve lost about as many as I’ve landed. The ones I’ve got in the boat were hooked good so it just may be one of those things? So far I’ve caught a 7 and two 8s. Kinda makes me like them!
