    Pp charge update

I recently updated my charge now if my ionics ar at like 85% it wont charge them I have it hooked up to a 2 12v trolling batteriesand 1 on starting and the trolling motor batteries go into standby then charges the starting battery as it should, I havent had any issues until I updated. Is anyone else having this issue? The cmonster app says they are charged and they turn green

Yeah, I had an issue with my PP Charge not charging my middle 100ah of the Ultrex (PP is aware of the issue with Ionics). Went with the MK-550, zero issues since.

I had the issue with the middle battery NON lithium. PP walked me through some stuff and eventually sent me a new unit which fixed the issue. This issue seems new with the latest update. My single ionic battery is only charging to 90% and the charge is saying its fully charged. This did not happen before the latest update.

The Charge does not play nice with IONIC or other prismatic celled 12 volt lithiums.

I havent had an issue in over a year with my ionics, at first I was and worked with pp and they fixed that issue but after this update it stopped charging them all the way, I cant speak for a 36v setup as I run a 24v setup, I have hear about the middle battery before but that never bothered my setup. Guess I will have to send pp an email about this and see what they can come up with, they have probably the best customer service, so no knocking them by any means

My battery is a 125ah starter battery. Reads 90% on the ionic app. 13.6v. Charge is reading full.

13.6 is charged and the PPC sees it as charged but if a charger does not push the batteries up to 14+ volts before it cuts off the cells will not balance and leave the app out of sync with the BMS, it needs to see 14v to be 100% and after they float for 24 hours should be about 13.4v at 99/100%
your batteries are charged but the app will continue to get further off unless the are toped off with 14.6v,
keep an eye on the cell voltage to see how close each cell is to 3.4v

Interestingly enough, after fishing yesterday the charge did its job. My ionic is reading 99%.
