If you haven't checked your connections now might be a good time to do it but 2.4 on that boat seems about right to me.

My first thoughts are weak batteries.

Sure it is in series not parallel? Troller black to battery one black, battery one red to batter two black, then battery two to red of troller.

good batteries should read like 25.5+ volts at the plug, also double check the plug

if you have it barely in the water its slower since the water moves across the hull fast causing more drag. Deeper is faster. You can use the remote to make sure its on power ten to eliminate the foot pedal.

This. I thought my Ultrex was a little down on power. New set of batteries and it’s back to normal.

Al, I don’t think there is anything wrong. I get about 2.5 on my 24 volt Ultrex, always have, on my BCB Classic.

Ive had the same Ultrex on two different boats, one Triton tr-17 and my Classic. 2.7 on the Triton, 2.4 to 2.5 on the Classic. I think you are just fine.

I don't have no problem with it lasting all day or anything just I fish in so many different boats and most have an ultrex and some just seem to have more get up and go but it might be in my head and a lot are 36 volts also so we will carry one...lol

I just launched and checked mine again in the marina for giggles and it was even higher, 2.9 to 3.1. That was with the motor trimmed up and only about 10 gallons of fuel. Our boats are very comparable in length, width and weight

That sounds about normal to me. I think my triton tr-186 is about the same. Mine seems a little faster now with new lithium batteries but to be honest I don't remember what the speed was with new lead acid either.

What shape is your prop in? Small chance a new prop would give you a tiny bit more push. (pull)

I was thinking the same thing. The Kipewa prop Tackle Warehouse sells is a huge upgrade over the stock MK prop in terms of smoothness and will gain a little speed too. Not great if you troll through vegetation but for open water it's great.

Going to check my connections and see the output at the plug and do a load test on the batteries, sat fished a T and with 2 guys an full live wells in15 to 20 mph winds and motor down only got 1.9 to 2.1 on the speed set at 10. Lasted the whole tourney no problem but just seems slow to me I usually run it on 5 most of the time ,but when I want to move between close spots would like a little more out of it.
