    prop tuning question

Will cutting barrel length down on a prop reduce stern lift? I am running lithium batteries and I need less stern lift and more bow lift. My prop has a flared barrel. Though maybe taking a 1/4-3/8 of inch off.

The flare is also an exhaust diffuser. Removing some will lessen stern lift, but you run the potential to let exhaust get on blade tips and blow out on Holeshot.

I sent a prop to Mark to be blue printed and he shave some the barrel. I dont know how much he removed or if he just squared the end up. I could see the machining marks. But to your question, it is my understand that this is done to reduce stern lift.
