    2020 721 pro xp 68 to 70 top speed

I have a 2020 721 with a 2020 mercury 4 stroke 250 , 3 blade fury 24 p ,8 ' power poles , 3 helix 10s, 1 garmin 10 ,ultrex 112 , 36 volt lithium, 2 12 v lithiums ,and an agm cranking battery and atlas 8 " hydraulic jackplate. 68 to 70 mph top speed at 5700 ish rpms. What prop is everyone running? Is this normal speed loaded with 1 person, full livewells and gas tank??

Take it to your dealer and have them check the linear throttle to make sure its getting 100%. You should be turning more rpm's.

If you're not familiar with high speed bass boats, let someone drive it that is. That boat should be doing 75+ all day long.

basically same set up and numbers with mine except 4 lead batteries and a 10" hydro jack plate. just put a fury 25p 3 blade on it that was BB and cupped by croxton and got another 2 mph out of it. lost 150 RPMs from the 24p fury

I've taken to the dealer, getting 100% throttle. Let someone else drive it and 72 is top speed at 5850 rpm. I lost bow lift somehow. Seems to not trim out as far as it did before. Nothing has changed in weight, prop etc. Wondering if i should drop down to a 23p to gain rpm

An 8" plate seems a little short. Most are running 10's and even 12's. Sounds like you have a good bit of weight on the nose and not enough in the back. You need to get the RPM's up above 6K. I moved to a 23P Fury 3B to get my RPms up to 6080. I am now trying a 24P Temp+ because they are supposed to carry the nose better but we will see. I'm getting 74.5 @ 6080 with more lift by myself....hopefully maintain that with partner in the boat

i heard if you're running poles you gain nothing with a 12" plate. i have basically the same setup except 10" bobs hydro and poles and 76 mph solo and 74 mph with partner and we total around 500 lbs. This is in Texas.
