    Question for BCB or others who have removed dash mounted Humminbird unit

    My Pantera II has a Humminbird Helix 7 mounted in the dash and I want to replace it. It appears to be simply glued in and I'm wondering if it can be pried out without damaging it. Should I apply heat to help it loosen up? Did BCB use "ureflex" to mount it? Any experience or knowledge of this would be appreciated. Thanks

    It's probably just siliconed in, I bet you could run a piece of braid around the edges to cut it.

    i just pulled my helix 7 out. it was just a bead of silicone
