    Lower unit bolt size

    2000 ox66 had a couple of lower unit bolts strip out. What size helicoil do I need to repair the thread?

    Update: in case any one else needs them the bolt size is 10mm x 45mm with 1.25 thread.

    I am luckily not in this situation but will a helicoil keep the lower sealed? It would certainly be easy to strip the hole.

    Sealed from what? The bolts that hold the lower unit on don't need to seal anything.

    Misinterpreted. Thought he meant the screws that hold the lower unit oil in. I know those can easily be stripped.
