    Proping 250ss on 2011 z8

    So I tried 3 different props today.
    23p Suzuki Just cause it came on motor
    26p Fury
    27p Bravo
    Motor is on a 2011 z8, Top speed was only 62.5 got withe suzuki and fury, lost a little with the bravo, all hit 6200rpm
    I’m not sure what is going on 🤦*♂️

    Try a Solas Scorpion 27P and you should be closer to 70 mph. Also, I'm running a 27P Croxton Razor XL and touching 70 on my BC Lynx.

    Right on, do you know where pade to nose cone should be? I’m have heard the 27 scorpion is the ticket, but not sure why I don’t gain with a steeper prop at the same rpm.

    I run a 28 x 14.5 4 blade and I turn 6100 at about 70 or so with a full load. Procraft 210 super pro. I would expect you to turn a 27 or 28. Most likely a 28.

    What prop do you have? I just ordered a 3 blade scorpion solas rubex

    It is the older Suzuki brand. 2015 model before they switched companies on props. I also have a 2016 ish Suzuki in the same size, and it is decent but not that great.
