    ECM on '99 200 EFI 2.5L--found a plug unplugged

    S/N 0G937923
    1999 Merc 200 EFI 2.5L

Screen shot is attached of a diagram of the plug I found unplugged on the port side of the ECM on the bottom corner. I assume it should be plugged in? I couldn't find the answer in a search of forums. Yesterday I ran the boat for the first time this year. Saw this plug was unplugged when I had the cowling off to replace a lower cowel mounted trim switch.

    Thank you,

    John

It’s just a plug to hook up a diagnostic tool.

+2... plug it into the dust cap and you're good to go.
