As we read this great chapter, Matthew 24, we start to see that Christ is giving us a preface to the Book of Revelation, which becomes more evident as we read through the current daily Scripture reading. Jesus was preparing the apostles and in their teaching of the Gospel to the nations, He was preparing the world from what He would show John in the Book of Revelation, bringing together Daniel and Ezekiel to a much more detailed explanation, even of the Great City which is called Babylon.
