Just bought this unit.

How good are the LakeVu g3 inland maps??

Also, will unit work with a navionics Hotmap Platinum micro sd card??

The navionics cards will not work with Garmin. You would need to purchase the navionics card that is made for Garmin.

You will have to have the card that is made specifically for Garmin units. The navonic cards that work in lowrance units will not work in garmins.

While the built-in maps are adequate, the Garmin map cards are much better with many extra features.
