    9th Annual Frank Stong Memorial KBN Scholarship Tournament

    This coming Saturday May 13th @ Big Hill

    Mound Valley ramp (dam)

    Entries may be submitted online, and/or also at the trailer on Saturday morning.

    $50 entry + $10 optional Big Bass

    5 bass, 15” per boat.

    2 anglers per boat, with the exception of youth teams and a captain.

    All proceeds to benefit the KBN Scholarship program!

    I didn't count the boats, but it was average for this event. Around 22-25 boats. The winner had over 18#. It ended up being tough fishing. I know there were several boats that fished Thursday, Friday and Sat. There were lots of Kayak guys that had fished Friday, so it might have been a little beat up. We had only 4 keepers that weighted 8-10. Was a perfect day for fishing though. Caught a lot of fish and different species. Finally got to see, on livescope, a fish swim up off the bottom and hit my bait. It was a white bass, but was really cool to see.
