    Question 250 SHO Drain Hole

Running 5000rpm gauge shows 20 PSI. No water discharge for drain hole tube. Cleaned tube as well as possible from outboard side, still no water discharge. Looking for suggestions to clear this drain hole.

When the mud daubers block the tube with mud I've used a small "oil can" style hand sprayer/pumper - I know I'm dating myself, but think of the old way we used to oil bicycle chains years ago. Fill it with water and spray water up in to the "pee hole." The nozzle is about the right size for the hole and it doesn't create much pressure...just enough to help dissolve any mud that may be up there. You may have to do this a few times if its blocked up. You can buy them at Harbor Freight, Amazon, WalMart, etc... Search hand pump oiler can.

String Trimmer Line usually works well. May have to put it in a drill and spin it to break through the mud/clog.
