I got on the water later than I was hoping I waited for a rain storm to go by before heading out. Still on the water 7:30 ish. Lots of fish caught, but nothing over 3lb. Still had a good morning. Seemed everything was getting bites too so just need to be out fishing!!

What water temps are you seeing down in southern Iowa? I went out for a couple hours after work last Thursday and the water temps were only about 54-55. Only caught three dinks. Kind of surprised me since I figured they would be higher than that. I'm sure with this warming trend they have moved up since then though.

Boy, they're really starting to climb with this warming trend. I hope to get out on Saturday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be some big girls moved up shallow by then.
