    new 250 SHO cowling size?

    Curious if anyone knows the size of the cowling on the new 250s, specifically how long/deep they are? I'm looking at possibly repowering from a two-stroke 250 Optimax and don't don't have a lot of room to spare in the garage. Will the new SHO be bigger than the Opti cowling, pushing my boat further forward in the garage?

    Looks to be 38 1/2 overall depth and 30 1/2 from face of bolt bracket to rear of motor. Might be off plus/minus 1/4 inch either way but let's face it, if a 1/4 inch makes a difference, you need a larger garage...... Hope this helps
