Makes a sound when hit up and down switch… had to go 20 miles at max of 15 mph back to launch… cut fishing time way back so was 6th with 3 bass… plate stuck all way up…makes sound down n up
but does not move…
bummer day with Z18 rig 18 months old…
I do not know where relays are and if it’s really the pump…

mots likely a relay especially if the sound is a click. Does the pump come on going up and down? I have had to reverse the connection to get mine down before.

May 5: Called tech support in Tampa....opened line Allen wrench deal to be sure all possible pressure was used as directed by tech...no change...
then tech told me needed a new actuator ($502 to my door) BUT after my dealer swaps it out and send the defective unit they would send me $488...
dealer busy busy as usual so appt is May19th...BUT shipping date for the part is May 29th (will call them Monday & see if pay more get here sooner)...
RMA# okay.......so of course the next T is June 1st...on my best lake where I finished 6th last Thursday and had to leave way early due to the frozen plate at highest...
??? is there a way my dealer can lower the jplate so I can get on plane at least or enough to do about 40mph? HOW???
(This would be wonderful and not make the part shipping date the whole bad no can fish deal...)

Called Tampa and Bobs Tech Support was very helpful … I ordered new pump $502 and after my dealer send defective in warranty back then my card will be credited $488…got swap done May 19th… but $396 install fee sounds unfair since no labor in under warranty… or seems not… anyway, jplate is set and do not plan to move it up ever again… seems to go like this… if no sound check fuse if sound is click click check relays. If sounds not clicking it’s the pump… and you eat the install… after 16 days I got back on the river today 5/21 and hopefully that is that…

Pump went out on mine a little after a year of ownership. Warrantied it, pretty easy DIY install.
