    Crappie Lakes Metro Detroit

Hey all. I was curious if anyone knew any good inland lakes for crappie in the metro area? I have a bass boat and normally just target those for fun. But lately I’ve been making it less up to my parents place near Saginaw Bay and finding myself wanting to start catching fish to eat down here. I’m not looking for anyone to give up a hot spot or anything like that. Just curious if any lakes are more specifically known in the area for crappie or panfish?

Lots of crappie have been caught in the Marina's lately on St. Clair. That is a option.

That's a good idea actually, I usually prefer just fishing inland lakes but I know the marinas can be full of fish. Thanks!

St. Clair has good numbers, as does Stoney Creek.

If you want fish to eat get after walleye in the rivers.....
Lakeville lake and Lake Orion both have nice Crappie....
