2004 285 Pro XL new engine

After 19 years of faithful service, I'm replacing the F150 on my 2004 285 Pro XL with a 150 VMax SHO. I have the engine replacement scheduled for next week. I hope to get 19+ years out this four stroke too. The F150 still runs good, just thought it was time to get a new engine.

I have no complaints with the F150, I would have repowered with the same, but I got a really great deal on the VMax.

What did you get the SHO for? I looked into repowering and it was going to cost $21K, but I need new controls and you probably don’t.

I didn't need now controls and I removed the old engine. I don't want to quote because I don't know if the dealer will give everyone the price I got, but it was now where near 21K.
