Wonder if anyone has done much testing on using a feather treble on a top water prop bait like a whopper plopper or Choppo or even a devil's horse. Please let me know if you have tried and what the outcome was... thank you

LOOKING for a Great deal on a Slightly used 20-21' Boat.
For me, the advantage of a feather treble is movement during the pause. I don't use any when the lure is brought back with a constant retrieve like for a Whopper Plopper.
Caught a lot of Whopper Plopper fish with bait sitting still. So why not. I personally quit putting them on Spooks.
I use them on any top water lure that I pause but not on ones that I keep moving.
