water in lockers 2006 188

I bought an 06 188 a couple of years ago. I always store indoors but the few times when I have it sitting out at the marina awaiting maintenance it always seems to rain. I get water in both rod lockers, enough that it will puddle if it rains hard enough. I will also get water in the rear storage compartments as well. I know the previous owner had just re- carpeted the boat before I bought it. Is this normal for this model? Any thoughts or suggestions?

There should be holes I'm thinking at the rear outside of the deck where the lids close. Those should drain water off the deck, so you might see if one of the hoses has come off. If I'm not mistaken, there should also be drain holes in the rod lockers should water get in there.

Could be your front pedestal seat base. I had this happen too. I installed a drain hose and the problem went away
