Wait a minute you took that boat out on St Clair?

Hmmm I was out there Sunday and didn’t see you

Must have been hiding in the shallows of Anchor Bay

It's gonna be trashed for a few days if the weather is as predicted.

With how crowded it has gotten over the last 5 or 6 years, I have no desire to do either. I spend the spring jigging for walleye on the Detroit and St. Clair rivers.

I was there Wednesday by 9 mile. Water temperature was running 43 to 46 degrees. Big cool down from week prior. Some knucklehead hit the floating dock at 9 mile and made it a circus for me loading up by myself Wednesday. They had to call someone to fix and retrieve it. Bite was tough as I think most of the fish had moved back out. One buddy that was out there caught 4. Two other buddies caught 17. I managed 20 before bolting. Next week should be fantastic. Of course I'm tied up. lol

They seem to be doing pretty good for walleye and Salmon, Marine City and south, I love the way they taste, but, I just don't keep fish.

Yes sir, and it's only going to get better in the next couple weeks up your way. Just need the weather to cooperate. I'm in the process of rebuilding my 12 year old trailer should have it all done this weekend. We need to get out fishing again Andy, I would like to check out your new boat too.

    Ya I don’t blame you.
We should just start boat pooling

However I don’t mind, most of the guys I run into are cool and respectful with their distancing.

Did you launch at nine mile today (Sunday)?
