    Kerr open

Bass open on kerr practice about to start. Any thoughts on 3 day winning weights. I guess at over 45 under 50. With 2 day top 10 at 30.. I have been told I am way off. Lol

That sounds about right to me. Practice weights may seem higher but the pressure is going to drop the weights over the course of the tournament.

Its been rough. I think someone will smack them day 1 (19lbs) Day 2(15lbs) Day 3 (15lbs). So 49-50lbs. If you catch 15lbs a day, you will have a shot to win it Day 3. I noticed some good locals fishing it but not as many as I expected. I guess not being able to fish kerr lake for a month prior hurt the # of locals that entered. 250 boats fishing shallow all day is going to be a wreck.

47-8, mix of topwater (horny toad or spook style) then swim jig on docks. Might be a little early for straight Shad spawn but it’s got the be about to go off up there. Should be interesting with the water level like it is - not really up but not down enough to pull them off or slide under bridges either.

can’t wait to see if they catch any smallmouth. You know some of those boys are gonna try the Dan.

Someone will hit that 18-20 pound bag but doubt it holds up for 3 days. 15-17 daily will work.

Looks like the water will be over 304 by start time, That could change a lot

Powell Kemp a local with 19.8lb. Water level 303.5. Weigh in sheet indicates a lot of limits were caught. Appears the lake is very healthy with 2lb fish
