Need help, have a 1997 Stratos 201 pro elite purchased last year, having problems getting any speed out of the boat. Has a 225 venom on it with good compression 110 to 100 on most cylinders. Thought maybe was waterlogged so took tank out and took 2 cores out all the way to the hull , foam was dry as a bone? Carbs have been re jetted and I’m pretty sure has larger pistons too . Boat is very difficult to start when cold but once it has a little heat in it has no problems starting. Runs 54 at 6100 . Not crazy about all the rpm’s but I know the boat should be doing better than 54. , I have a 24 pitch raker relipped and rehubbed by a local professional, even tryed a 26 pitch and even a 27 pitch 4 blade , all spun and has no effects on dropping rpm’s. The odd thing is the boat always plaines out good just never gets on pad? Any suggestions would be appreciated
