    Which section of CT river?

Hi folks! I am new to the northeast. I am wondering which section of the river fishes the best? My main targets are bass, but I like other species as well. Also, I'd imagine that each section has its own boat hazards, but which areas are the narliest?

Hartford down to the ocean is tidal and can be good or bad.

Chicopee area , lots of hazards but some good fishing.

Above Chicopee section good but tons of hazards.

Bartons cove into NH very good but plenty of hazards.

Not sure if you were planning on NH but Hindsdale and Moore are also very good, but also lots of hazards.

Anywhere in the river has it places or shoals, rocks and logs and they change a little every year depending on the snow fall and flooding.

Personally the oxbow section and bellows section stand out for me. There are many many areas where you can get in trouble and jet boat territory only

Stripers will soon be running up the river from the mouth up to Enfield, CT. Usually best right around Mother's day.

Went to the Moore section three or four years ago and we got numbers but not a lot of size.
