Really liking the images that I'm getting with my AT2. Noise control off, contrast/gain about 87%. I like a hot image, I could turn down the contrast a little I'm sure for a completely clear image but I want to make sure I'm seeing everything. No problems tracking my 1/16oz jog 40' and beyond. Color palette #3. Still hard for to believe how simple the Lowrance AT2 is to operate compared to both other brands of forward facing sonar that I used to have.
I'm thinking I need to change my palette... I'm stuck thinking in 2D/SS where you want to see color/shading differences, but for AT it seems like mainly you want to see moving blobs, and the color doesn't matter.
Still learning... Typically running AT1 at 86% and all noise reject off so I can see as much as I can see... but do turn in down 10 notched for Scout Mode.
