I wanna redo the stock center front compartment on my 819. Those "rods" in there for storing 3700 boxes I think is just an inefficient setup. I need more organization. I'm getting the day box for the rod locker, know that already. But for the center box, looking at the plastics tray, then unsure about what to do with the 3700 box area. I feel like I carry a lot of stuff, tools, dye, etc, that could be thrown in a tray somewhere.

What is the day box for the rod locker? I just ordered my 819 and don't remember that option.

Existing has the rods to hold the boxes, what advantages would it be to remove rods and put an AMPD tray that does the same thing?

Gotcha....I've looked at the same systems and figured i would gain much from adding them.....the side bad holders were interested me more but seems with a low side my plastic bas would fall out......if you get those let us know how it works out....

Ordered the day box tray which I've wanted for awhile. I also have the TackleWebs which are handy especially for the glove box between the seats.

I have the side pieces with the pockets for soft plastics and I really like them. You can fit more bags in them then you think and they stay in there just fine
